About the Green Rabbits...
The Green Rabbits began as a social enterprise in June of 2007. It is based on an experimental humanizing strategy for an occasional network of people with complementary skills, passions, interests and knowledge from many fields, professions, disciplines and geographies who value food, and agriculture as central to the wellbeing of society, the sustainability of the planet, the future of green development and the cultivation of bio-diversity in the natural environment.
The people involved with the Green Rabbits range from restaurateurs, chefs, farmers and food sellers to designers, architects, storytellers, engineers, scientists, writers, filmmakers and healing specialists, to name but a few. They are located in New York, London, Krakow, Copenhagen and elsewhere.
In the spirit of the Green Rabbits, we call upon each for timely relevant advice or help. Sometimes we collaborate on projects. We meet, when possible, to talk over a meal, share knowledge and form solutions. Other times, we use the telephone, email, Skype, etc.

“The Green Rabbits inhabit and support the organic food and agriculture movement. They love storytelling to bring ideas, people and warmth together. They share knowledge, enjoy food and spark change. Green Rabbits value the spirit of collaboration and work to create an atmosphere where people of different backgrounds and knowledge can come together to create and innovate. Green Rabbits embrace process and encourage taking time to think through projects and cultivate meaningful relationships so that collaborators have fun while working to solve problems and generate understanding.”-- Shelley Rogers. Shelley became part of the Green Rabbits project in 2010. She is a documentary filmmaker who created the movie "What's Organic About Organic?" (2010 release) and the Screen & Green campaign (2010 onwards)
